Strings corresponding to “Scarlett_VR” and “EDITION_Scarlett PublishedPackages_Scarlett.xml” counsel that Microsoft has, on the very least, been contemplating the implementation of VR on its next-gen consoles the Xbox Sequence X and Xbox Sequence S, to be used with Microsoft Flight Simulator. It is nothing concrete – maybe Microsoft is testing the performance internally.Microsoft Flight Simulator is coming to the Xbox One, Xbox Sequence X and Xbox Sequence S in 2021, however Microsoft hasn’t stated something about VR help for its next-gen console vary, which is why these strings are so fascinating.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is already obtainable on PC as of writing, with VR help on the best way through the HP Reverb G2 “later this fall,” in response to an Xbox blog post published in July. Compatibility with different HMDs will arrive later down the road. You may join the VR Closed Beta on the Flight Simulator web site here.
